Halloween 2007

Halloween... Is there a better day of the year? Okay, maybe Thanksgiving, what with the turkey and the Rockton Fair. But seriously. I lub it. It's the babies and animals in costumes (Pugoween, anyone?). It's the unnecessary giving of candy. It's the excuse to dress up and pretend you're something else.

This year I was Marie Antoinette, and I gots to say, I looked fantabulous! Susie, FS, Baby Bellah, Wade (pronounced Waa-day) and I went to the Bruce Trail Association's "Wild Times for Wild Things" party--lots of old chicks and dudes, but one very funny couple dressed as Edward Scissor Hands and a Heather Sandwich.

We also experienced a near run-in with a woman pretending to be something green and decaying who insisted on routinely outbidding both FS and I in our paintings of choice. She took it a little too personal, and actually got all up in our nuts (one might say... not me, but someone... someone who might be ghetto fabulous...) Needless to say, we both lost, and chicky paid a ridiculous amount of money for two mediocre pieces of art.

What about you guys? What did you do, and what did you dress as? Send my your pictures, if you have 'em, and I'll post 'em... Our very own little online party, if you will!

I LOVE your wig. It is fabulous.

Sadly, I did not go out for Halloween this year. Though I am dressing up at work on Wednesday. Our entire staff is going as Where's Waldo. We're going to freak out the kids. he he!

You look AWESOME!! Although I'm a little disturbed by the lack of skin showing. It's Hallowe'en isn't it?

This reminded me of your costume:

and it would probably look great with your new jeans too!

I didn't dress up on the weekend, but will tomorrow for work and taking the kids out. Will send a pic if I am ambitious. My Mom usually does a family pic thing when we trick-or-treat her house.
